Despite the non-appearance of Jamaican act, Adijah 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer, over 6,000 patrons still enjoyed 'Temperature 3' at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, on Saturday night.
A loud groan of disappointment was heard from the audience when Jamaican acts, 'Lisa Hype' and 'Sheeba' announced that their countryman had missed his flight and would not perform on the night. Promoter Roy Maraj also expressed his dissatisfaction with the artiste, while apologizing to patrons for not providing all of the advertised acts.
He said: 'After Licensing Fete, the public expressed so much interest in seeing Vybz Kartel again that we changed the cast of Temperature 3 to bring him back to Trinidad this weekend. Somehow, he managed to miss all the available flights, but then sent a message with some of his people who had arrived earlier in the week to say that he would do a make-up show later on this year. I am really not happy with his lack of professionalism, but I'm glad that the patrons understood it was not our fault this time. We did everything we could.'
